What We Do

The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA) provides its members with competitive advantages that improve bottom-line performance, help recruit and retain staff and showcase the industry’s most successful practices.

Employing a unique consensus-based approach, DPHA treats showrooms, manufacturers/importers and manufacturer’s representatives as peers and equal partners.

Education and communication are DPHA hallmarks. DPHA has the industry’s only comprehensive education program that trains showroom staff, customer service representatives and others how to successfully sell decorative plumbing and hardware.

DPHA is the voice of the industry, providing members with weekly guidance to improve sales skills and business practices, and keep their fingers on the pulse of new product introductions and updates and industry developments.

DPHA's well-deserved reputation for quality and ability to create value for its members enabled the organization to become the industry’s largest association. Since its creation in 2002, DPHA has continually helped improve members’ businesses with an ongoing stream of marketing, educational and infrastructure products. DPHA has been honored with an Industry Leadership Award from Kitchen & Bath Design News for providing a unified voice and direction for the DPH industry. The magazine also described DPHA in an article as “the essence of what trade associations are all about.”
