The sensual, light forms that characterise the Sonar bathroom collection designed by Patricia Urquiola became possible with the manufacturing capabilities of the Swiss bathroom brand, Laufen. Filigree washbasins with poetic lines and subtle decors, some of which seemingly “float”, as well as vanity units in elegant lacquers and surfaces, are characteristic of the SONAR series, with which LAUFEN has opened up a new formal design language in bathroom architecture.
The complete collection brings a sophisticated elegance to the bathroom space and includes washbasins, WC, bathtub and furniture which can be effortlessly combined. The external “wave” detail on the washbasin is reflected on the exterior finish of the freestanding bathtub. Its design stature clearly outweighs its compact footprint at a mere 62 x 32 1/16 inch and is available with accompanying accessories including a soft backrest and a ceramic tray which seamlessly rests on the edge of the bathtub.
For the new 2021 innovations, the collection will be supplemented by a washbasin in 31½ inch width while the metallic furniture finishes of gold, copper and titanium are complemented with a new finish in an elegant white matte.
