Eliot Sefrin

Eliot Sefrin is the founding editor of Kitchen & Bath Design News, which marked its 37th year of publishing in 2022 and widely considered to be the leading magazine serving kitchen and bath design professionals. Sefrin has spent most of his career in media covering the kitchen and bath industry, serving as KBDN’s editorial director and publisher from 1994-2011. He currently serves as publisher emeritus for KBDN and its parent company, SOLA Group Inc., that also publishes KBDN’s sister magazine, Qualified Remodeler.

KBDN has helped shape, define and educate the kitchen and bath industry, while helping raise the professionalism and profitability of its 45,000+ monthly readers through both its print publication and seminar programs, which deliver live education to kitchen/bath professionals in key U.S. markets.

Sefrin partnered with DPHA to create the DPH Perspectives column nearly two decades ago, a column that is still published exclusively in Kitchen & Bath Design News. Sefrin has also served as a speaker at NKBA chapter meetings, as well as at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). He was inducted into the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Hall of Fame in 2008 and in 2012 became the only member of the media ever to be afforded honorary membership in the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) in recognition of his service to the industry.
