Hastings Bath Collection Celebrates 140 Years of Design Excellence.

New Products,

Hastings Bath Collection is proud to celebrate its 140th anniversary with the debut of a new collection of hex-shaped mirrors and shelving, designed as a modern homage to the company’s origins in paving.

Founded in 1885 in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Hastings began as a manufacturer of asphalt and concrete pavers used in landmark American spaces, including New York’s Central Park and the grounds of the Statue of Liberty. Now, over a century later, the company continues to shape environments, not with concrete, but with contemporary bath furniture and fixtures that reflect its legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.

“This collection is more than a new design, it’s a visual tribute to where we began,” says Bob Gifford, Director of Business Development for Hastings Bath Collection. “The hexagonal shape evokes the geometry of our original pavers, while the finish and craftsmanship reflect everything Hastings stands for today: bold forms, elevated functionality, and timeless design.”

From pioneering high-end Italian tiles and bath products in the 1970s, to embracing modular bath furniture and exclusive European partnerships in the decades that followed, Hastings has long championed forward-thinking design. In 2000, the company officially divested from its paving operations to fully commit to the bath and tile industry, building a reputation as a go-to resource for designers, architects, and showrooms across North America.

The rebrand was accompanied by a digital transformation and a renewed focus on modular collections, exclusive finishes, and Italian manufacturing partnerships.

A Symbol of Then and Now

The new hex collection is a fitting symbol of Hastings’ enduring ethos: honoring the past while designing for the future. Available in multiple sizes and finishes, the mirrors and coordinating shelves are intended to pair seamlessly with Hastings’ contemporary vanities and storage systems, offering both standalone impact and design versatility.
