Builder & Hospitality Sales Representative @ Next Luxury (Chicago, IL)

The Next Luxury Builder and Hospitality representative is responsible for driving top-line sales growth through the development of relationships with developers, builders, hospitality brands, and procurement agencies.

The primary focus will be to build and foster relationships across multiple builder audiences resulting in our products being specified and included on projects.


Specific Responsibilities

Develop and maintain builder/developer relationships.

  • Foster individual relationships with key developers and builders.
  • Attend developer/builder community social events.
  • Lead product presentations
  • Prepare budget quotes using SpecBook Software
  • Conduct strategic research to have a command of new and ongoing projects within the territory.
  • Develop valuable insights to understand the value chain and what drives purchase decisions.
  • Clearly articulate unique selling propositions.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of all product lines and features.

Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business, Marketing, or Economics from a four-year    college or university preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years outside sales experience, with strong preference given to experience in Decorative Building Products.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Experience in selling luxury products is highly preferred.

Travel
  • May require occasional overnight travel
Compensation
  • Salary and benefits package are commensurate with experience
