Celebrated Design Leaders Join DPHA Conference.
For years, DPHA has worked to bring local specifiers—designers, architects, custom home builders, and more—into the fold of our annual conference to experience the Product Showcase firsthand. Our Designer Panels have been a highlight of past events, drawing packed audiences and consistently ranking as one of the most valuable parts of conference programming.
This year, while our agenda shifts away from hosting a formal Designer Panel, we are thrilled to welcome three highly respected design leaders to Houston: Suzie Williford, Laurie Laizure, and Molly Switzer. Each brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, influence, and perspective to the decorative plumbing and hardware industry, and we can’t wait for our members and exhibitors to connect with them.
"I’m excited to return to the DPHA conference in Houston! As a designer I want to be able to see brands that I don’t see at the large shows and have the opportunity to talk one on one in a much more intimate experience about new launches and new unexplored brands." - Molly Switzer
Suzie Williford has spent more than three decades shaping the kitchen and bath industry. From her time as Chief Strategy Officer at NKBA, where she spearheaded the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), to her leadership in business development and sales, Suzie’s influence is unmatched. Now at the helm of her consulting firm, SW Collective, she continues to help companies grow their market share through strategy and connection.
Laurie Laizure, Founder and Managing Director of the Interior Design Community (IDC), leads the largest independent nonprofit network for design professionals, boasting more than 115,000 members. With IDC’s influential reach—including millions of daily Instagram views and the popular “To The Trade” podcast—Laurie has built a true hub for both brands and designers to connect, learn, and grow.
Molly Switzer AKBD, founder of Molly N. Switzer Designs LLC and a DPHA POTY Awards judge, brings a fresh approach to residential design, with a strong focus on kitchens, baths, and integrated smart-home technology. Beyond her design practice, Molly is a passionate educator, creating opportunities for designers and reps to connect through training sessions, product launches, and hands-on learning.
Along with these three thought leaders, we look forward to welcoming dozens of additional specifiers through the Showcase floor this year. Their presence underscores the growing role of DPHA as a bridge between the design community and the brands shaping our industry.
Together, Suzie, Laurie, and Molly represent the innovation, expertise, and excitement that continue to elevate the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. We are proud to host them—and can’t wait for our members to be inspired by their perspective.
