Project Sales Representative – Decorative Plumbing & Architectural Hardware 

Location: WASHINGTON, DC. “GEORGETOWN”

Position:

Decorative Plumbing & Architectural Door Hardware Project Sales Representative.  Responsible for maintaining and growing existing and new client sales in the architectural, design and custom-building industry within the Greater DC market.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain client base within the Architectural, Interior Design and Custom-Building communities.
  • Create customized proposals for clients based on customer's selections of products supplied
  • Work with our purchasing department in the procurement of products from vendors to manage the timeline of delivery of these products to meet customer expectations. 
  • Work smart and efficiently to be able to meet monthly goals by reaching out to existing and new clients daily to fill pipeline to meet monthly goals.
  • Need to be diligent and organized to ensure correct products are specified w/ correct pricing and approved by customer to minimize any unnecessary returns of products. 
Skill Set Needed to be Successful:
  • Be a strong, personable and effective communicator during the consultation and sales process to the professional building community 
  • Highly motived and self-starter w/ a determination towards building relationships with existing clients and growing a client base within the building community 
  • Possess an understanding and being knowledgeable of selling premium/luxury products for the custom-building industry. 
  • Have a high sense of urgency and attention to detail while multitasking several projects and responsibilities at one time.  
  • We take pride in the high-level service we provide our customers.  Candidates must project a positive and professional image since we are all ambassadors of the company. 
  • A strong professional presence to include excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and demonstrate an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) as well as being able to type quickly and being able to navigate websites and the ability to learn various computer programs required for this sales position. 
  • The ability to read and understand floor plans and architectural drawings is a plus.

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:15 pm
