DPHA University's Online Testing and Certificate Program

How The Vault works:

  • Courses are broken into three categories: Bathroom & Kitchen, Hardware, and General Knowledge.
  • The courses correspond with our education manuals, and most of the courses are broken into micro-learning modules.  These smaller modules help with knowledge retention.
  • A score of 90% or higher is required to pass, and questions are selected from a pool and will show in random order.  Participants may retake the test until they pass, and the questions will pull from the pool in random order with each retake.
  • When each course is completed, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.  Once all The Vault courses are completed, participants will receive a graduate badge to use as they please.  The badge will also be added to their profile on DPHA.net.
  • Videos and other forms of learning will be added in 2024.
  • While The Core program in DPHA University, which includes the DPHA Educational Manuals, is available to all DPHA members, there is an additional charge for The Vault.

$150 annual fee per associate

Hear how our members utilize DPHA University!

“In an industry dependent on experience in every facet of decorative hardware and plumbing, it’s easy to overwhelm new hires with too much information all at once. DPHA University offers a bite-sized approach to the vast wealth of knowledge needed to be proficient in our industry and is a must-have resource to prepare our people for success, with a very easy starting point when hiring talent outside of the industry.”

"When creating a new hire training program, I knew the DPHA University would be an integral part. The DPHA University and The Vault program contain a wealth of information that explains the “nuts and bolts” of our industry. The learning provided is invaluable not only to those just starting in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry but also seasoned professionals. I highly recommend including The Vault in all your learning efforts with your teams."

"We feel our showroom staff is better prepared to engage with homeowners and building industry professionals because they understand the fundamentals. Our knowledge is deeper than the aesthetic level of selections and we can put our customers at ease by explaining how and why. This knowledge and confidence starts with completing the DPHA program."
