With almost 40 years of steam manufacturing knowledge, Orellana —quite literally— moved ‘full steam ahead’ to bring the highest quality steam shower products and experiences to the masses.
Four years after starting her career in 1981 at Sussman Automatic — founded a century ago to supply steam irons for use in garment factories — Orellana ignited the company’s transformative journey by creating a subdivision called MrSteam. Fueled by her passion for “feeling good,” Martha was on a mission to provide new steam shower system technology to make health and well-being “a way of life.”
By 1987, Orellana made MrSteam's first hire, bringing on Dan Reinert to formally introduce the world to steam's health and well-being benefits at the ASA Show. Today, Orellana and Reinert remain integral in the development and marketing of MrSteam's innovative products and communicating how steam therapy "empowers people to be healthy, live happy and feel good."
