Why I Attend Conference as a Rep.
Attending conference as a sales rep is a great experience and my favorite networking event of the year. It’s one of the only industry forums where you can meet with your peers, discuss common issues and successes, and learn how to apply their best practices to your agency. I’ve learned as much from other reps as I have from the conference speakers over the years. The DPHA conference is a perfect opportunity to expand relationships with current manufacturing partners and meet new ones. One year I had a conversation with a sales manager in the buffet line, and they asked me to rep their line a few weeks later. It is the only show I know of where sales reps are treated as equal industry partners and not excluded or put in a separate category. Come join me at conference in New Orleans in October!
